I think I'm going to get a cheap old external frame backpack at a garage sale and convert it into a carrier for the bike. If that works out OK, I could take the bike with me to do something like Strawberry Peak. Doing third-class rock with a 30 lb. bike strapped to my back is strangely appealing.Posted to OutdoorSports at October 21, 2002 05:48 PM
As you will see now there are No Bike signs posted everywhere.
Come to Runyon Canyon and enjoy the hike but leave your bike at home.
People are getting seriously hurt by the bikers ignoring the fact that there are people hiking their and running them over.
There was an evil sign hanging there that was a WARNING from a biker saying that you bikers would purposely hurt the hikers. Nice, very nice.
