Rich Lowry on the McCain-Kennedy amnesty bill

This bipartisan deal cut by Sen. John McCain is noxious. No, the issue isn't judges. (Or campaign finance, or health care, or any number of other things.) It's illegal immigration and a proposal that has just been cooked up by the Arizona maverick and the Massachusetts non-maverick Sen. Ted Kennedy to grant an amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants...

The bill could make illegals stand on one foot and wave their arms before becoming legal - but it would still be an amnesty...

...The McCain-Kennedy bill has the hallmarks of continuing in the tradition of the 1986 legislation... "A lot of it seems intended actually to handcuff DHS enforcement people," says [Mark] Krikorian. The rest of the enforcement provisions are a mishmash of calls for reports, coordination plans, advisory committees - in other words, the usual dodges when politicians want the public to think they are doing something they don't want to do...

Rich Lowry wrote an article a few weeks ago praising President Bush for proposing to reduce the farm subsidies. The nit wit forgot to mention that years earlier the President had significantly INCREASED the subsidies. The guy is one of the lamest political hacks on the planet.

Yeah, the neocons are easy targets. But what about you ralph? Are you for a border between the US and Mexico? If so ,what kind of border security do you propose? Are you for unlimited immigration? If not, what kind of limits are you for? If I were to guess, based on all your confused statements you are for unlimited immigration for La Raza only, but your abbreviated sound bites make it hard to tell. Oh, and what do you think the humancarrying capacity of the US is? 500 million, 600 million, or maybe one billion? Also do think there should be any distinctions whatsoever between legal immigrants and illegal "immigrants"?

No, I live in Costa Rica and I jusr got finished receiving a BJ from a very good looking Colombian female . Since you are the protected looney on this site I sometimes wonder what makes you spout such drivel on a continuous basis. What is clear is that you are totally unable to answer my questions. And what I care about most is the truth and combating its enemies. Many of my relatives were victims of Stalinist tyranny and I feel I owe it to them. Having said that I agree with you that you are basically an inconsequential character.
