Is Bob Barr changing his immigration position, or just confused, or intentionally trying to confuse?

I don't know, you tell me based on this fundraising solicitation - thankfully deprived of actionable links - in which he complains that if John McCain or Barack Obama win they'll push amnesty. He also stresses border security. In fact, he stresses it so much, and to the exclusion of coming out foursquare against any form of amnesty no matter what it's called, that until I hear an actual detailed plan on what he intends to do I'm going to assume that Bob Barr's position on immigration is still the same.
